Hire Checklist

At My Commerical Kitchen, we want to make sure it’s an easy process to hire & use our kitchens.

We require to following:

Remote for Front Gate Bond

On occasions you will require a security gate remote to access the property. A refundable bond of $200 applies and will be returned once the remote is returned in good working condition.

There is also a one-off remote hire fee of $100 + GST for the duration of your kitchen tenure.

A security gate remote is only required if you need access to the property on weekends or outside of the standard gate opening hours during weekdays.

Cleaning Bond

Sadly it is now necessary to charge a cleaning bond as some previous tenants have left the kitchen in a very unclean state. This bond is $300 and once you are no longer using the premises and it has been left clean to my satisfaction then that bond money will be refunded.

Current Food Safety Supervisors Certificate, also known as the ‘Green Certificate’ is required

Examples of businesses which need to notify

Retail food outlets, other than seafood retailers that also process seafood or butchers

Businesses which sell food as a smaller part of their business such as chemists, cinemas, corner stores, petrol stations and sporting facilities

Food stall holders at regular, temporary or one-off events

Mobile food outlets

School canteens

Childcare facilities that provide food and do not hold an Authority licence

importers and exporters of food or food ingredients

Who Do I Notify?

Workers Compensation Insurance?

Please note you are required to have Workers Compensations insurance to lease space at My Commercial Kitchen

What are you using the kitchen for?

What food will you be using the kitchen to prepare/make?

What is your estimated arrival time? 7:00am; 7:30am etc

Do you require to have food delivered prior to your arrival? If Yes, will this food require refrigerated storage?

Have you arranged for someone to be here to accept delivery of this food?

What refrigerated storage will you require? Fridge/Freezer/Both

Will you require refrigerated storage of your product beyond your rental period?

For how long will you require the food to be stored after your hire period?

Have you arranged for someone to be here for pickup of this food?
