My Commercial Kitchen
Kitchen Rules
Please be respectful and careful with any equipment that you use at My Commercial Kitchen during your time in the kitchen.
1. Parking
Parking in the complex is at a premium and there are no public spaces available.
There are 3 spaces assigned to Sydney Commercial Kitchens, Unit 18 and the first 2 of these belong to Sydney Commercial Kitchens and are not for use by anyone else.
There is one car space allotted to the kitchen only, see below. Also note that there is a one way system in place for accessing the property, please follow the direction of the arrows. To do this, turn left immediately on entering the property gate.
The RED block is the assigned parking spot for kitchen tenants.
If you have multiple cars attending the site then parking on Prosperity Parade is the best/only option.
Parking in front of the roller door is only permitted for the purpose of unloading and loading at the start and end of your time in the kitchen. Once you have completed these tasks then you will be required to move your vehicle to the assigned parking space.
2. Hire Equipment
We request that you use and treat any equipment at My Commercial Kitchen with respect and then return it cleaned and in the same condition that it was left for you.
Accidents do occur and if this happens to you, then please have the integrity to inform us immediately. You are responsible for replacing or repairing any damaged equipment.
3. Cleaning
Our goal is to rent to you a spotlessly clean kitchen and someone will have worked hard to ensure exactly that. Please make sure that when you depart after each day’s cooking that all surfaces are left spotless, including the floors. This also includes the scullery area and the coolroom. Make sure you clean the kitchen rubbish bin before you leave.
My Commercial Kitchen provides all the cleaning tools and chemicals required to ensure that you can leave the kitchen in a spotless condition. If for some reason the cleaning supplies have been depleted, please let us know immediately and we will arrange to get new supplies to you.
If you have paid for a half day, which is a maximum of 5 hours, this time includes time allowed for cleaning. Remember there may be other customers waiting to use the kitchen!
4. Pots, Pans & Utensils
You will need to bring any cooking equipment, like pots and pans, tea towels and oven mitts as well as any cooking utensils that you might need with you for use in the kitchen.
5. Rubbish Removal
Please place your food scraps in a sealed garbage bag and place it in the rubbish bin outside, for collection.
Any Cardboard boxes or recycling material you will need to take away with you at the end of your day.
6. Property Maintenance
My Commercial Kitchen is proud of what we do and what we offer. Sometimes there might be issues with our equipment, our property and these issues may not have been brought to our attention.
Please let us know immediately if there is a problem with any aspect of our facility so we can try to rectify the problem as soon as possible. This includes kitchen equipment, refrigeration, sinks, stoves, plumbing, bathrooms, garbage collection, electrical, etc.
7. What do I bring?
Just bring your own pots and pans, utensils, knives, tea towels and your food to prepare and you are ready to go.
If your cooking or production requires specialised pans or equipment you will be required to bring these with you.
